Family Care Center of Mooresville follows all safety protocols for COVID-19.

Masks are required at our facility for patients, visitors and staff. If you are medically unable to wear a mask, you are encouraged to call our office prior to your scheduled time to let us know so we can assist you in adapting your appointment to a telehealth.

We can treat patients over the phone or through video.

Nadia Nasser, MD

Dr. Nadia Nasser is a physician who believes in integrating all aspects of a patient's unique health into her medical decision-making. She chose her specialty as it allows her to study a wide variety of medical conditions and aid her patients in their long-term health and wellbeing.

"My goal is to help my patients better understand their health goals and to prevent future diseases."

In addition to English, Dr. Nasser is also fluent in Arabic.

Judith Prairie, MD

Dr. Prairie (formerly Albert) is a board-certified family physician who sees patients of all ages (beginning at 5 weeks). She believes in an individualized approach to patient care. She treats her patients not just as patients, but how she would treat her own family members. Dr. Prairie enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and building lifelong relationships with them.

“My goal is to help my patients become the best and healthiest versions of themselves. I plan to be their biggest cheerleader on the way. It’s an honor to serve my patients, and I truly love what I do.”

John Allan, MD, FACC, FAHA

Dr. Allan has over 20 years of experience caring for patients with cardiovascular disorders and diseases. He is only cardiologist in Iredell County inserting the CardioMEMS Heart Failure System.

He firmly believes in practicing evidence based medicine, but also realizes that treatment needs to be specifically tailored to each individual patient’s wants and needs. He believes his role as a Cardiologist is not only to be a specialist in preventive medicine and the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases, but to also treat each of his patients with the utmost respect and kindness he or she deserves.

Bradley Martin, MD

Dr. Martin has been a physician for 10 years after earning his medical degree from the University of Toledo.  He completed residency training at University Hospitals of Case Western University and a Fellowship at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. in Cleveland, OH

He is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine and a member of the National Board of Echocardiography.

Post COVID-19 Heart Issues

Now, a recent study in Nature Medicine has found that people may be at increased risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD) for at least a year after they recover from COVID-19.

Researchers used databases from the Department of Veterans Affairs to look at the long-term effect of COVID-19 on heart health
